Local Artist Charley Hampton is a Canadian Abstract Artist living in Vernon, BC.  Charley works primarily in acrylic, and uses a variety of mixed media to enhance his art.  For Charley - Art is a way to express himself in ways he would otherwise not do.  It's about taking risks, learning through growth, living with the fear of making mistakes, and connecting with the people who understand.  Charley follows the Japanese principle of satori; continually acquiring new points of view and perspectives through which we deal with life.

Big Eddy's Cheerful Cup! Bright flecks of white dot the inside of this glass with patches of bright colours on the outside. Each glass is unique and adds a pop of colour to your drink! Each cup holds approximately 375 ml. 

Big Eddy Glassworks are located in the Big Eddy, a rad little neighbourhood in the mountain town of Revelstoke, BC. This Canadian company has great vibe, and many talented glass blower - it truly is an art to them!

The Kikko Denim is a 12.5oz indigo rope dyed Japanese denim woven in a traditional Japanese “kikko” pattern. Such patterns are symbolic and are taken from nature, in this case Kikko represents the tortoise shell and represents good luck. This denim was woven on a special jacquard loom capable of weaving complex patterns. Since the pattern is raised it will become more visible as the indigo fades away creating a stunning contrast between the pattern and the base of the fabric. Cut, sewn, built in Canada with tonal stitching, navy patch, and black mil spec non reflective buttons and rivets buttons and rivets.

The Chino Short is slash pocket shorts with rear welt pockets.

The brand name Naked & Famous is a satire of our celeb-obsessed culture.  Aiming to poke fun at “Hollywood”and “Glamour” brands that sell jeans for $300 and up solely because they are celebrity endorsed, and not because they are higher quality.

The logo is reminiscent of 1950’s Pop-Art. Early Pop-Artists depicted the “ideal blond” as a satire of mass media and mass culture, then fed it right back to them. We intend to do the same.

We are probably the only luxury brand that is actually concerned with providing product VALUE to the end consumer.

Finally a positive book about native schools.  Written by Dorothy Matheson McIvor, the granddaughter of Princess Elizabeth Deeks of the Tsimshean Tribe of Port Simpson.  The book chronicles her time at the Coqualeetza Residential School in Sardis BC which was the largest Protestant Indian School in Canada.  

Dorothy writes of her earliest childhood memories to her graduation and beyond.  She reflects on some of the local history of the Fraser Valley and the Pacific Coast.  Dorothy also gives and insight into the Native Lifestyle in the late 1800's and early 1900's.
