This was an experiment!

When I knew I was opening my own store… I thought… wouldn't it be wonderful if I could give other people a great chance to make it with their craft. This is a partnership of my design and simple knitting skills (my way to relax and unwind - and a lesson in patience - as it takes me about 4 months to knit a toque!), combined with the wonderful skills of my un-named knitter. As it turns out - she does not want to be acknowledged… so her name is not here. She loves it - she has knit since she was a young girl… and can do just about anything put in front of her - without even looking! My skills with the needles are not quite up to par - and it takes me about 3 months to knit a toque - but I do enjoy it, and I do have good design ideas and dexterous hands. So - this is us… making up what I decided to call Polished Knits! If you knit - you will know the time and skill it takes. If you don't - we hope you appreciate the countless hours spent whipping needles and yarn around until they resemble something useful and beautiful! It is a labour of love…
